Doug Cook is Governor of the International Secure Minds Training Academy (iSMTA). He has iSMTA oversight with responsibility for content, quality and service delivery. He is a Chartered Security Professional, Fellow of The Security Institute and has 35 years’ experience of security at expert and management levels.
Tremaine Kent has been the managing director of CTR high-risk security & investigations services limited UK since October 2003. With current SIA approved contractor status, Tremaine has led the company to becoming the first physical personal security provider dedicated to the Mobile Telecommunications sector.
Elaine Wheatley is the International Secure Minds Training Academy (iSMTA) Programme Manager. She is responsible for programme delivery and administration for Academy students. She is a former corporate security advisor in UK and advisor for a number of security activities world-wide.
Adrian is an external advisor to the iSMTA, providing insight and feedback on courses. His experience comes from risk management and also identifying emerging markets and focusing on specialist consultancy projects, these include projects in Nigeria, Libya, Malaysia and operations in the UK.
Per has been working in the security industry for many years and having owned his own security company in Denmark, Per provides external consultancy to iSMTA.
Alison is the iSMTA company secretary under the limited side of Secure Minds. Alison is an accomplished and professional person that has over 10 years working within the security sector developing ISO standards and administrative support.
Teresa has been working within the security sector for over 7 years conducting and managing the compliance and verification of our qualifications within our group.
Keith began his career in the Royal Marines in 2004. Keith became a Close Protection Operative (CPO) and Counter Piracy Consultant in 2010 working in and around Africa. Keith is studying his BA for graphic design which adds to course development, not only from a security perspective but also a design one.
Alan is the Director of AKD Services, a consultancy company specialising in fraud prevention. Previously Alan worked at Transport for London (TfL) where he was responsible for the awareness, prevention, detection and investigation of serious fraud throughout the TfL organisation including Crossrail (at the time the largest European construction project).
Managing Partner, Resilience Guard GmbH – A seasoned Business Continuity Management professional and entrepreneur who has shifted the global mindset of resiliency and risk awareness to the next level, leading to him being the two times winner of the BCI Global Business Continuity Awards Business Continuity Manager of the Year 2012 & 2014..
Stephen has a depth of experience in all aspects of security and specialises in ‘threat led’ counter-terrorism and protective security measures in a range of environments including being a trained practitioner in protecting ‘Critical National Infrastructure’.
Thomas LeBrun owner and operator of Nighthawk Security, est; 1988 and has been contracted and deployed to over 40 countries for advance work and close protection assignments. His primary focus and success is to provide protective services for those in the Entertainment Industry, Corporate CEO’s, Private citizens of high net worth.
Following a 29 year career in the Intelligence Corps, Tony joined the Private Sector, working in Telecoms with T-Mobile and Vodafone, as Director of Security at Computer Associates and in the travel industry where he was the Head of Corporate Security for Travelport International.
Since 2011 owner of a Safety & Security Management Consultancy Company in Austria – (Physical Security / Access Management / Information Security Management, Risk Management, Safety, Fire Protection, Safety & Security Trainings and lectures); Trainer of ECHOCAST (Security staff – supervisors in museums).
Is an Associate Senior Consultant for Resilience Guard GmbH. Alexandros has more than 10 years of experience in Disaster Management and Disaster Risk Reduction having worked for a number of companies as a senior ICT Engineer and at managerial positions being responsible for Telecommunications and telecom resiliency.
Rupert completed 23 years army service reaching the rank of Warrant Officer (2). Rupert retired from the army in 2010 and moved to the Middle East, taking up employment within the Oil and Gas Industry, specialising in hostile environments working as a security site manager for Olive Group and British Petroleum, on fixed & mobile drilling platforms.
