The Director of Security will oversee security and safety functions in the region. He/she will provide strategic and operational leadership that is aligned with the company’s goals and objectives with a particular emphasis on fostering a safe and secure culture. The incumbent will partner with company leaders across all levels and all operations to establish, refine and monitor security and safety programs, policies, procedures, needs and new initiatives.
The Director of Security for the region will devise and manage annual budgets and also will recruit, train, hire, regularly evaluate and mentor regional security team members. In addition, he/she will travel regularly to company locations to assess security operations and conduct formal audits of the security and safety functions. The Director of Security will work closely with external providers of specialized services including security systems and technology. The incumbent will be a member of the Corporate Security Committee and serve as the primary deputy to the head of security and safety and provide regular reports to senior leaders.
